Aim
of the training
By this training, the
Engineer, Project Manager, Telecom Manager, Manufacturer, Fitter, Operator will
have the most important knowledge for BSS subsystem network dimensioning, BTS,
BSC, OMC-R, including the links on A and Abis interfaces.
After a short description of a GSM network,
with the NSS and BSS sub-systems, the training will describe the dimensioning
rules according to the traffic and coverage requirements. In addition the
training will present the new GPRS
& EDGE architecture with the relevant coding schemes standardized
by ETSI for data transmission phase 2+.
The training will end by an
overview on how increase the network capacity by cell's splitting and the
umbrella engineering.
